Hi I’m Annette. I have two children of my own, Lauren & Corey, and a beautiful granddaughter, Leilani. I have had the privilege of working with children for over 25 years, most of my experience being with the Kindergarten age. I have been here at Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten since the beginning of 2016. I love being part of each child's learning journey whilst they are here, watching them grow into strong, independent individuals ready for school.

Shay Gilliland (Ms Shay)

Hi, my name is Shay. I have been an early childhood teacher for 18 years and am passionate about the early years and setting your child up for success in education. I am an open person who loves parent involvement. I am married and have three beautiful boys who keep me on my toes. They all play football and are very active. As a family, we love to camp and enjoy the outdoors. I am so excited about getting to know your babies and help to guide them to become confident, independent learners who love life!

Tara Bernie (Ms Tara)

Hi my name is Tara. I have a beautiful  family with 3 children of my own; Nash, Airlie and Weston. I have had the privilege of working with children for 10 years. Kindergarten is the very first chapter of your child’s schooling journey, I look forward to being apart of your child’s story and helping to guide them through their year here at Kookaburra Creek where they will flourish into strong, independent and unique individuals.

Samantha Clark (Ms Sam)

Hi, my name is Samantha. I am a mother of three beautiful children and have my Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. I have been working in the Kindergarten industry since 2018 and have experience with children with a additional needs. My passion is helping young children and watching them learn and achieve. This is one of the most heart warming benefits of being a Kindergarten assistant.

Nicole Long
Administration Officer

Hi, my name is Nicole. I am married with two children. My son Josh attended Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten in 2016 and I volunteered as President. My youngest child, Danielle, is two and we are excited that she will attend this wonderful Kindy as well. It is good to be back as part of the Kookaburra Creek community, as the Administration Officer.

Cleaner

Hi I’m Julie. I have been here at Kookaburra Creek Kindergarten since 2011. I am employed as the Cleaner, making the environment clean and hygenic for your children.
